Experienced Full Stack Mechatronics Service Technician – Field Service and Support

Job Description

We're seeking experienced Full Stack Mechatronics Service Technicians to join our team in the Karlsruhe/Pforzheim region. As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Repairing and maintaining machinery for post processing (franking machines, envelope machines, RISO printers)
• Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of equipment
• Installing new equipment at customer sites
• Processing customer orders and documenting service work in SAP S4 Hana
• Managing a territory in collaboration with three other Service Technicians
• Traveling and occasionally overnight stays may be required
• Collaborating closely with our sales team to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting on-site repairs and maintenance of machinery

• Performing routine maintenance and servicing of equipment
• Installing new equipment at customer sites
• Processing customer orders and documenting service work in SAP S4 Hana
• Managing a territory in collaboration with three other Service Technicians
• Traveling and occasionally overnight stays may be required
• Collaborating closely with our sales team to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* Technical education in mechatronics or a related field

• Experience as a Service Technician in a field service role
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical, and network technology
• Structured and organized approach to work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with SAP S4 Hana or similar ERP systems

• Knowledge of post and parcel industry equipment and processes
• Familiarity with RISO printers and other related equipment
• Experience with customer service and support
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
