Your day-to-day responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences through:

  • Solving problems efficiently: Quick thinking and effective problem-solving to resolve customer queries and concerns.
  • Making it personal: Taking ownership of customer interactions and providing personalized solutions.
  • Inspiring customer loyalty: Building strong relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business.

Essential functions:

To excel in this role, you'll need to:

  • Address customer questions and concerns: Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries about products and delivery information.
  • Provide product information: Share detailed product information, including features, benefits, and availability.
  • Review alternative solutions: Offer alternative solutions when products are out of stock and assist customers with placing orders.
  • Successfully negotiate and appease customers: Utilize established guidelines to negotiate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Check inventory, process returns, issue replacements and credits: Manage inventory, process returns, and issue replacements or credits for damaged or defective merchandise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned: Stay flexible and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School diploma or GED: A basic education requirement for this position.
  • 1 – 2 years previous customer service experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a performance-based or metric-driven environment.
  • Experience in a performance-based or metric-driven environment: A strong understanding of performance metrics and targets.
  • Strong ability to communicate both verbally and written with capable data entry skills: Excellent communication and data entry skills to effectively interact with customers and manage customer data.

  • Equipment requirements: Ensure you have the necessary equipment to complete training and work effectively, including a desktop or laptop computer, antivirus/anti-malware software, and a wired USB headset.

  • No Chromebook, Windows 7, Windows 8 RT, or Windows 10 S: Ensure your computer meets our minimum system requirements.
  • Antivirus/Anti-malware: Protect your computer with up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware software.
  • 6 GB of RAM: A minimum of 6 GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance.
  • Wired USB headset (with microphone) compatible with our systems: A reliable headset for clear communication.
  • Ethernet cable hardwired into your modem/router: Ensure a stable internet connection.
  • USB to Ethernet converter if your computer does not have an Ethernet port: A converter to ensure a wired connection.
  • Monitor: 15 inches or larger with minimum resolution of 1024 X 768: A compatible monitor for clear visibility.
  • Mouse and keyboard: Essential peripherals for efficient work.
  • Webcam (built in or external) with minimum resolution of 640 X 480: A webcam for video conferencing and online interactions.
  • Landline phone, iOS device (tablet or cell phone), or an Android (tablet or cell phone) for purposes of multi-factor authentication: A device for secure authentication.
