Responsibilities

As a Fresh Foods Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintaining a clean and appealing store environment by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked
  • Helping to maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for perishable products, including storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on new products and promotions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous customer service or retail experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
