Key Responsibilities

As a Sterile Processing Customer Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert training and support to hospitals in the Detroit, Michigan area on sterile processing techniques, including proper handling, cleaning, and sterilization of medical instruments
  • Identifying cost containment opportunities and contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with surgical technicians, nurses, and doctors to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional service and support
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sterile processing to provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of new procedures and protocols

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of related experience, ideally in a clinical environment
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to understand and present to surgical technicians, nurses, and doctors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost containment opportunities and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support to customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
