Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks PartTime Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program studying at our Irwindale CA campus. #onsite You will be mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting in your choice of one of the following areas:

• North and South Los Angeles County
• Orange County
• Riverside County
• San Bernadino County
• Santa Clarita Valley
• San Fernando Valley

Required commitment is one 812/hour shift per week for each 8week session at one of our clinical partner sites. Responsibilities:

• Develops and provides students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus and which includes the terminal course objectives.
• Organizes prepares and regularly revises and update all course materials.
• Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and courserelated software including Websites email and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students.
• Models effective oral and written communications that engage the students provide clarity and improve student learning.
• Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives assignment/examinations dates and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories.
• Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives.
• Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams and provide timely feedback to students.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications :

• A Masters in Nursing (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
• An unencumbered California nursing license
• BLS Certification is required
• At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse

Additional Information : In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country t he expected compensation rate for this position is $65 per hour for the first 8hours per day and $97.50 per hour overtime for any hours worked over 8 per day.
