Job Summary

The Part Time Flexible Customer Service Associate plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth at blithequark. As the face of our company, you will consult with customers on their rental needs, maximize revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services, and overcome customer objections to ensure that every customer receives world-class service and sales support. In addition to providing outstanding customer service, you will also be responsible for shuttling customers, preparing vehicles for customer pick-up, and performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers to understand their rental needs and provide personalized solutions to meet their requirements
  • Actively offer products and services to maximize revenue opportunities and overcome customer objections
  • Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service and sales support, responding promptly to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Shuttle customers to and from our locations, providing a safe and comfortable transportation experience
  • Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up, including cleaning, assessing damage, fueling, and refilling all fluids
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as operating computer terminals, telephones, calculators, copy machines, and fax machines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and provide support to ensure the smooth operation of our locations

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, driving, pushing, pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives
  • Knowledge of equipment operation, including computer terminals, telephones, calculators, copy machines, and fax machines
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, twisting, and climbing
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the rental industry and blithequark's products and services
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with fluency in English required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred
