APB is a global brand portfolio including Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, offering products that our customers love at great value across Hardlines, Consumables, and Softlines. The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, partnering with the Marketing and Discovery (M&D) team to deliver insights that directly influence senior leadership decisions. The role will also support analyzing investments and trade-offs during High Volume Events (HVEs) and develop reporting mechanisms that compare plan versus performance. APB’s rapid growth and unique model create an opportunity for a motivated professional to demonstrate their skills and make a significant impact. Key job responsibilities
- Support the core financial processes for the business, including annual operating plan, three-year strategic plan, and monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Conduct comprehensive financial modelling including cost-benefit analysis, identifying and communicating key drivers to support marketing investment decisions.
- Design, automate, and iterate financial reporting frameworks that drive strategic decision-making
- Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- MBA, or CPA
- 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
