Job Responsibilities
As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading data science initiatives across various business areas, including customer data science, analytics, and machine learning. Your primary focus will be on developing and deploying data products that provide actionable insights and drive business decisions. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and extracting relevant data sources to support business initiatives
- Developing and deploying machine learning models to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
- Mentoring junior data scientists and promoting best practices in data science and analytics
- Developing and maintaining data visualizations and storytelling to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Identifying and evaluating new technologies and tools to enhance data science capabilities
What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and analytics. Some of the key qualifications and skills we are looking for include:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a focus on data science and machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
