Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers, running the register, and providing excellent customer care
  • Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program to enhance the customer experience
  • Leading shifts on a regular basis, gaining entry-level management experience and developing your leadership skills
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless customer service
  • Collaborating with your team to achieve daily goals and objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and suggesting solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and store efficiency

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Lead Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, bend at the waist with some twisting, and grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Entry-level management experience, with a focus on leadership development and team collaboration
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and grow with blithequark
