Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing orders, and meeting their needs in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling/cross-selling our products. Your primary goal will be to establish long-term relationships with our customers, driving loyalty and retention.

Essential Functions

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Process orders, credits, and specialty item actions via our custom order entry system.
  • Follow all applicable standard work procedures and 5S guidelines to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Place orders via fax or internet, utilizing our custom order entry system.
  • Process credits and specialty item actions for technical orders.
  • Process special pricing requests and communicate with the pricing team as needed.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product lines, including:

+ Doors + Drawer fronts + Glass doors + French lites + Drawer boxes + Moldings and accessory items + Finishing all types + Ready To Assemble (RTA) cabinet line + Basic specialty items

  • Learn and utilize our system requirements, including:

+ Custom order entry + CRM + Email + Shipping + Anytime

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent required; college graduate preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service/sales or a related field.
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and products.
