Job Overview

In this role, you will be working as a Part Administration Delegate for blithequark, providing phone support to Medicaid individuals and suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with a variety of requests, including eligibility, provider changes, and demands for ID cards. As a customer-facing representative, you will be the voice of blithequark, and your goal will be to deliver an incredible experience to our guests every single time. Our calls are inbound, and we are looking for individuals with solid client skills to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming member and provider calls, answering questions regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, additional benefits, and programs.
  • Utilize your excellent communication skills to discuss effectively with individuals and suppliers, both orally and in writing.
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality objectives.
  • Work independently from home, with the ability to drive to our office in Richmond, VA, when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical issues.
  • Maintain a fast internet connection with secure service via an ethernet cable; Wi-Fi is not allowed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and have the ability to work full-time, 8 hours a day. You should be comfortable working in a remote setting and have the discipline to be self-motivated. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be interacting with clients and suppliers on a daily basis.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience working in a call center setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare is also preferred, as you will be working with these programs on a daily basis.
