Job Summary

As a Lead Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced data science and AI models that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and implement AI-powered models that drive business outcomes. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and support, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and AI.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science and AI models that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and implement AI-powered models that drive business outcomes
• Develop and maintain complex statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data pipelines to support business decision-making
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and drive growth
• Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights and results to stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and support
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and AI, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and architectures that support business needs
• Work with the product development team to integrate data science and AI models into product features and applications

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience

• At least 7 years of experience as a data or AI researcher, including participating in advanced AI exercises (regression, clustering, and forecasting)
• Experience leading the development and execution of scientific and data science modeling arrangements using methods including data mining, AI or text mining
• Strong background in numerical ideas, calculations, and computational complexity
• Experience collaborating with associates to bring business value to the organization
• Experience presenting findings and reports to partners
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, SAS, risk analysis, and data control
• Experience working with large volumes of data and tackling business issues
• Experience with data science tools and technologies, including Hive or Hadoop, AI, text mining, and Flash

Preferred Qualifications

* Doctorate (PhD) degree in Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field

• At least 4 years of experience as a data or AI researcher, including participating in advanced AI exercises (regression, clustering, and forecasting)
• Experience with data science tools and technologies, including Hive or Hadoop, AI, text mining, and Flash
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
