Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Behavior Therapist - ABA, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
- Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans
- Working collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
- Being responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
- Being goal-oriented and maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology)
- Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
- 1-year ABA experience (or equivalent experience in a related field)
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
- Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
- Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings
Physical Requirements
As a Behavior Therapist - ABA, you will be required to:
- Lift up to 35lbs
- Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
- Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings
