Job Summary

As an experienced Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be part of our Applied AI team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development of our products and services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the product development team as a trusted partner to identify opportunities for improvement and drive growth
  • Defining and interpreting A/B tests to answer critical questions about the impact of model and UX changes on our products
  • Establishing a data-driven product development culture by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalization of key metrics at the feature, product, and organizational levels
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and other tools to empower the team and organization to answer product-related questions in a self-serve manner

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the product development team to identify opportunities for improvement and drive growth

  • Define and interpret A/B tests to answer critical questions about the impact of model and UX changes on our products
  • Establish a data-driven product development culture by driving the definition, tracking, and operationalization of key metrics at the feature, product, and organizational levels
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and other tools to empower the team and organization to answer product-related questions in a self-serve manner
  • Develop and implement thorough tests with clear results and product recommendations using SQL and Python
  • Define, implement, and operationalize new feature and product-level metrics without prior experience
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with product managers, engineers, and executives

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role exploring complex conditions, preferably as an early data scientist or product researcher at a hyper-growth product organization or research institution

  • Proven experience in designing, executing, and running thorough tests with clear results and product recommendations using SQL and Python
  • Ability to define, implement, and operationalize new feature and product-level metrics without prior experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with product managers, engineers, and executives
  • Strong programming foundation, with the ability to run simulations and model variations
  • Experience in approving quantitative insights with qualitative methods (e.g., surveys, UXR)
  • Familiarity with NLP, large language models, or generative AI is a plus
