In this role, you'll be responsible for investigating and resolving complex fraud cases, working closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure the integrity of our systems and processes.

Job Summary

As a Fraud Investigation Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Investigating and resolving complex fraud cases, including reviewing transaction data, analyzing patterns, and identifying potential security threats
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as Risk Management and Compliance, to ensure the integrity of our systems and processes
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to prevent and detect fraud, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes
  • Providing expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including training and education on fraud prevention and detection best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats, and adapting our strategies and processes accordingly

Key Responsibilities

* Investigating and resolving complex fraud cases, including reviewing transaction data, analyzing patterns, and identifying potential security threats

  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as Risk Management and Compliance, to ensure the integrity of our systems and processes
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to prevent and detect fraud, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes
  • Providing expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including training and education on fraud prevention and detection best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats, and adapting our strategies and processes accordingly
  • Managing a high-volume caseload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and external partners

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Administration

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as fraud investigation, risk management, or compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Administration

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as fraud investigation, risk management, or compliance
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and platforms, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Python or Java
  • Certification in a related field, such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and external partners
