Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist in our Claims Support Department, you will play a critical role in supporting our adjusters and assistants throughout the settlement process. Your primary responsibilities will include entering claim requests, verifying documentation, and preparing and indexing mail and email. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, and that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Enter claim requests into our system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Verify documentation and supporting materials for claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and index mail and email, ensuring timely and efficient communication with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with adjusters and assistants to resolve claims and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay organized and prioritize work to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of people, including customers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Clerical office skills, including computer skills and data entry experience
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize work, and communicate effectively with a variety of people
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a data entry or claims support role

  • Knowledge of insurance industry practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g. Certified Data Entry Specialist)
