The Role

As a Customer Service Professional at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing information to policy holders, parents, spouses, and beneficiaries
  • Receiving, evaluating, and answering customer inquiries, which may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures
  • Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, providing information, referrals, routine transactions, and troubleshooting
  • Answering product, account, policy, and service inquiries, resolving problems, and promoting products and services through verbal and written communication
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting alternative products or services
  • Handling most calls and transactions independently, escalating calls properly when necessary
  • Practical assimilation of blithequark's Leadership Competencies

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of directly related customer service experience and well-developed transaction processing experience
  • A college degree or equivalent business/military experience
  • Strong people skills with the ability to think like the customer
  • A passion for delivering top-quality service
  • Proven record of dependability, punctual attendance, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and retain a significant amount of technical information in a relatively short period
  • Receptivity to detailed performance feedback
  • Proficiency with a keyboard and window-based applications, including the internet
  • Proven self-motivation skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a team environment, as well as work well independently
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you must be able to provide a quiet area with minimal distractions and noise. You will also need to have a reliable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download speeds and a USB wired headset with a noise cancellation feature. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $39,400.00 to $58,500.00, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
