Role Overview

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering data from various sources into our computer systems, verifying accuracy, organizing and maintaining files and records, and assisting with data cleanup and validation projects. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our database operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Enter data from various sources into computer systems with accuracy and efficiency

  • Verify the accuracy of data entered to ensure high-quality data
  • Organize and maintain files and records in a secure and accessible manner
  • Assist with data cleanup and validation projects to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and achieve shared goals
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our database systems and procedures
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in data entry or database operations

Qualifications:

* Proficient typing and data entry skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on minimizing errors and ensuring high-quality data
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in data entry or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

Essential Skills and Competencies:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

  • Experience with database management systems, such as Oracle or SQL

  • Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
