Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You'll also collaborate with our development team to integrate data systems with our web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualizations that support business operations
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
- Work closely with our development team to integrate data systems with our web and mobile applications
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouse
- Design and implement data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with our security team to ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
- Certification in data engineering, data science, or related field
