Responsibilities
As a Phone & Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
- Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
- Identifying customer needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to meet their needs
- Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Performing data entry and customer service skills to ensure seamless interactions
- Navigating online resources efficiently to verify nurse credentials and facilitate shift assignments
- Working requests/records received for those requesting to sign up for a shift, identifying customer needs, and researching to determine if requests have the necessary credentials
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, skillfully transitioning between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure
- Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
- Cross-training as requested to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our services and processes
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
- Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online resources
- Previous remote work from home experience a plus
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Type 35 words per minute accurately
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws
Equipment and Software Requirements
To ensure seamless performance, you will need:
- A reliable laptop or desktop computer with the following specifications:
+ Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater + Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits + Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required + USB headset + Up-to-date antivirus software installed and a recent scan completed + Firewall enabled
- A secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed internet connection
- A dedicated work area with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
Pay and Benefits
As a Phone & Chat Specialist at blithequark, you can expect:
- Starting pay: $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
- Work hours: Shifts between 8:00am-8:00pm (EST), Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
- Paid Training: 3 weeks in length from 9:00am-6:00pm Mon-Fri (EST)
- Status: Full Time, 40 hours
