Job Overview

Our Amazon Locker+ retail locations are designed to provide a convenient and hassle-free experience for our customers. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, processing orders, and resolving any issues that may arise. Our associates are empowered to make decisions and take ownership of their work, ensuring that every customer leaves our location with a smile on their face.

Key Responsibilities

As an Amazon Locker+ Customer Service Associate, your duties will include:

  • Receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing for delivery
  • Assisting customers with questions and resolving any issues they may have
  • Working through problem-solving scenarios for customers, using your critical thinking and communication skills to find solutions
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards for quality and safety
  • Managing responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site
  • Using technology, such as smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receiving truck deliveries and ensuring that all packages are accurately processed and stored

Our Amazon Locker+ retail locations are designed to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for our associates. You'll be working behind a counter, interacting with customers, and sorting packages. Depending on the location, you may be working in a Whole Foods Market, a freestanding location, a partner retailer, or even in the lobby of a warehouse.

  • Surroundings: Our locations are climate-controlled, with minimal noise levels, making it an ideal place to work.
  • Activity: You'll be on your feet for most of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • To be 18 years or older
  • The ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
