Job Summary
As a full stack software engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will also be responsible for testing, debugging, and maintaining our applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement features that deliver exceptional user experiences
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the highest standards of quality and performance
- Test, debug, and maintain applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues to improve code quality and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web and cloud development, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our applications
- Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applications
- Collaborate with our QA team to identify and resolve defects and issues in our applications
Authority and Leadership
As a full stack software engineer at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the development of our technical vision and strategy. You will work closely with our technical leadership team to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and to drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong passion for innovation and excellence in software development
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase and MongoDB
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with agile project management tools, such as Jira and Asana
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices
