Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our IT department, managing mail and internal correspondences, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Maintains full knowledge of IT department structure, knowing which leaders oversee each team
  • Sorts, scans, and distributes mail and internal correspondences throughout the blithequark campus and satellite locations
  • Manages postage, mail accounts, and incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ensures office supplies and all common areas are stocked, clean, and organized
  • Sets up IT meetings and removes set up once the meeting convenes
  • Creates and replaces ID badges for IT employees
  • Supports coverage of the reception desk, including answering phones, directing visitors, issuing and deactivating employee and visitor badges
  • Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Complies with blithequark privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge

Physical Requirements

As a Virtual Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk, you will be working in an office environment where a computer, telephone, and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties. You will be required to:

  • Regularly sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move from one area to another
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse
  • Occasionally push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 25 lbs
