Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our Medicare team on a 3-month contract-to-hire basis. As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare, you'll be responsible for handling claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound calls from customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding their claims, benefits, enrollment, and other related topics
- Utilize multiple systems to navigate customer information and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain a high level of empathy and understanding when interacting with customers, ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional service
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction ratings
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in call center customer service, with a focus on inbound calls
- Excellent customer-focused competencies, with a strong service-oriented mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Empathy and strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on customer service
- Previous experience working with Medicare or similar healthcare programs
- Call center customer service experience, with a focus on inbound calls
- Medical background or experience in a related field
- HS diploma or GED with 2+ years of customer service experience/call center experience
