Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations by creating, maintaining, and analyzing data to drive informed decision-making. You will work closely with our technology team to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval, and collaborate with business analysts to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting to support business procedures and data-driven decision-making

• Develop and maintain robust data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Design and implement new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with monitoring and business analysts to identify business requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
• Develop, maintain, and cultivate scalable data pipelines and data designs
• Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Assist in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting
• Work with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and implement new data variables (data exploration)
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns and provide actionable insights
• Evaluate data from multiple sources, resolve discrepancies, and validate data against criteria
• Research and remediate data errors
• Participate in the Information Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures
• Analyze and validate metrics, provide feedback to division leaders on areas requiring attention

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis and data visualization

• Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating and managing reports, dashboards, and data models
• Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code
• Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling skills, including experience with star schema or other methodologies
• Ability to solve problems through statistical analysis with large data sets
• Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
• Familiarity with Smartsheets

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security
• Certification in data analysis, data visualization, or related field
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data engineering principles
