Your Role in Detail

As a Live Chat Customer Support Assistant, you will be responsible for responding to live chat messages from customers on our clients' websites. Your primary goal will be to provide timely, accurate, and friendly assistance to resolve customer queries and concerns. You will work independently, using your own device (phone, tablet, or laptop) to access our platform and respond to incoming messages.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to live chat messages from customers on our clients' websites

  • Provide top-notch customer support, resolving queries and concerns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Utilize our platform to access customer information and resolve issues efficiently
  • Work independently, using your own device to access our platform
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time and resolution rates
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications) preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Reliable internet connection and a device capable of accessing social media and website chat functions
  • Availability for 10+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Strong adherence to provided instructions and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
