Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Data Source Identification: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality tests to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, identify key assumptions, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
- Analytical Modeling: Develop and deploy machine learning models, conduct exploratory data analysis, and identify key trends and insights to inform business decisions.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Work with MLOps to deploy models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Code Development & Testing: Write code to develop and deploy data solutions, create test cases, and validate proposed solutions.
- Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies to evaluate accuracy and robustness.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Develop compelling stories and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science
- Strong programming skills in Python or R
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including mentoring junior team members
- Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data quality best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
