Responsibilities
As an Experienced Document Controller | Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and interpreting 401k statements to extract relevant data with high precision
- Entering and maintaining data in a new database with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Leveraging Google Docs for data entry and record management, ensuring seamless integration with our proprietary in-house database and PDFs
- Communicating effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms, providing timely updates and ensuring seamless collaboration
- Handling 7-10 documents on a daily basis, with a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms, ensuring timely and efficient document processing
- Providing assistance with reporting needs as required, utilizing your analytical skills to extract insights and trends from data
- Navigating complex documents comfortably and efficiently, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Working flexibly with the ability to connect on East Coast time, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with the team
- Utilizing a proprietary in-house database and PDFs for data handling and management, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry, with a proven track record of data entry and document management
- Proven proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration, with a deep understanding of the financial services industry
- Demonstrated skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy, utilizing tools such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong experience in document control, including organizing, storing, and managing documents, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with a focus on data analysis and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a focus on self-motivation and accountability
Nice-to-haves
While not required, the following skills and experience would be beneficial in this role:
- Experience with proprietary in-house databases and PDFs
- Familiarity with cloud-based document management systems
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights and trends from data
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and resolve conflicts
