Job Summary

As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service while ensuring the accurate processing of customs clearance documentation for import shipments. You will work closely with internal staff, divisions, other blithequark activities, and clients to deliver an elevated level of service to our customers. This is a full-time remote position, requiring 8 hours of work per day, with a salary range of $20-30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide excellent customer service to clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff

  • Process customs clearance documentation for import shipments, including data entry, Sop's, duty books, web, and customs documentation
  • Maintain and update all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements
  • Comply with all international importing and exporting guidelines
  • Work closely with other internal staff, divisions, other blithequark activities, and clients to deliver an elevated level of service to customers
  • Process organizational financier shipments
  • May handle distant filings
  • Ensure all service and organizational strategies are followed
  • Perform other or additional duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

  • HS Certificate or GED required
  • No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
  • Data entry/computer experience required
  • Required skills include MS Office, Viewpoint, Office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and time-sensitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications

* Industry experience in customs trade or a related field

  • Experience with various systems and reference materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
