Job Summary
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, you'll work closely with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes, ensuring that technical solutions meet our high standards. You'll also be responsible for managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation, guaranteeing that projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you'll serve as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT groups, participating in system and acceptance testing as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes, ensuring that technical solutions meet our high standards
- Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation, guaranteeing that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Serve as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT groups
- Participate in system and acceptance testing as needed
- Collaborate with experts to analyze, mitigate, and recover from cyber threats
- Develop and implement quick response systems to address digital dangers
- Extend of work varies depending on the team project
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity, information assurance)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk management standards, theories, and practices
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement preferred
- Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environment required
- Openness to Agile philosophies preferred
- Coursework or experience related to network security preferred
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines preferred
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred
- Experience tackling business issues in a capstone or case competition preferred
