About the Role

As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative - Remote (Healthcare) at blithequark, you will work from home and interface with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or the Internet. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding our products and/or services. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering expert customer experiences with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide
  • Help customers with healthcare needs such as understanding benefits, claims, billing inquiries, authorizations, finding new providers, and more
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in databases
  • Offer additional products and/or services
  • Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of call center experience
  • Experience in a healthcare-related field or benefits/insurance organization preferred
  • Open availability
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
  • Open availability, as this client is open 24/7
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing
  • High Speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
  • Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with healthcare-related software and systems
