Job Overview

This hybrid position is based at our 221 Venture Way, Lafayette, LA, 70507 location, where you will work in-center 3-4 days a week and remotely from home 1-2 days a week. As a Customer Service Representative and Sales Specialist, you will be the voice of blithequark, creating meaningful connections with customers, introducing them to the latest technology, services, and offers, and driving sales growth. Your daily and monthly sales goals will be met through your exceptional customer service skills, product knowledge, and ability to resolve issues efficiently.

Pay Transparency

At blithequark, we believe in transparency and fairness. Our Premier Service Consultants earn between $17.11 - $18.31 hourly and up to $3000/monthly in additional commission if all sales goals are met. We also offer a range of amazing rewards, including employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays. Individual starting salaries may vary depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Premier Service Consultant specializing in customer acquisition, sales, service, and retention, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer interactions (calls, chats, emails) in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurately resolving issues related to service, billing, payments, and collections
  • Explaining bills and product features clearly
  • Troubleshooting basic problems and seeking higher support when needed
  • Building customer confidence and loyalty by resolving issues efficiently
  • Supporting various customer inquiries, including technical issues
  • Working a flexible 40-hour per week schedule, which may include nights and weekends
  • Participating in paid training to enhance your skills and knowledge

  • A workspace that meets our WFH standards (technical, security, physical, noise levels, Clean Desk policy, etc.)
  • Participation in workspace audits (remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, pictures of workspace setup, video chats, etc.)
