Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and promoting our energy solutions. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer calls professionally and responding to inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention and satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Providing customers with clear and concise information about our service standards and energy solutions
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring seamless customer experience
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and resolution as needed
  • Completing call notes and call reports, updating CRM records to ensure accurate customer information
  • Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, maintaining accurate customer records
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the growth and success of our team

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills a plus, but not required
  • Some sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar and tone
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Some experience with MS Excel a plus, but not required
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure
