About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining the high standards of our retail stores. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice and recommendations, and ensure that every interaction is tailored to their unique requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services to meet their requirements
  • Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures, maintaining precise work order files and formulas
  • Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the overall success of the retail store
  • Maintain the visual standards of the store, including stocking shelves, setting up displays, and cleaning store equipment
  • Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, tinting and mixing products as needed to customer specifications
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting in making deliveries as needed, and maintaining in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options with customers and suggesting ways to improve sales

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
