Experienced Full Stack Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial reporting and analysis efforts. As a key member of our accounting team, you will work closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor to drive process improvements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to inform business decisions. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Own the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for assigned functional areas
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
- Collaborate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
- Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
* Self-motivated and independent individual with a "make it happen" attitude
- Strong business acumen and process-oriented thinking
- Data-driven and detail-focused with excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, with strong proficiency in English
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large datasets
