Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

• Data Source Identification: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
• Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, identify key assumptions, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
• Analytical Modeling: Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems, leveraging techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Model Deployment & Scaling: Collaborate with MLOps teams to deploy models to production, continuously monitor model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Code Development & Testing: Develop and test code to implement data science solutions, leveraging programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases for data science projects, influence stakeholder decision-making, and drive the execution of deliverables.
• Model Assessment & Validation: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies to evaluate model accuracy and robustness.
• Data Visualization and Storytelling: Develop compelling data visualizations and stories to communicate insights to stakeholders, leveraging tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and programming.
• Deep knowledge of data science concepts, including machine learning, statistics, and data visualization.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members.
• Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data quality best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
