Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our online community remains a positive and respectful space for all members. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and impartial manner. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement community policies, and provide exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate chat conversations on our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to community guidelines

• Enforce community rules and guidelines, including deleting messages, banning users, and muting users as necessary
• Investigate reports of rule violations and take appropriate action to resolve conflicts
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in community events and activities to promote engagement and build relationships with our members
• Stay up-to-date with community trends and best practices to ensure that our community remains a positive and inclusive space

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in community management or moderation

• Knowledge of community guidelines and policies
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online engagement strategies
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
