Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service experiences to our customers, resolving issues, and driving customer retention. Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer calls professionally, responding to inquiries, and resolving complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, empathy, and solution-oriented approaches
  • Providing customers with clear and concise information about our service standards, policies, and procedures
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring seamless handoffs and minimizing wait times
  • Following up on complicated customer calls, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system
  • Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills (a plus)
  • Some sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
  • A positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service
