Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Answering inbound calls and responding to customer emails, chats, and other forms of communication
  • Helping customers navigate their healthcare plans, including explaining coverage options, benefits, and eligibility
  • Identifying and resolving customer complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and informed support to customers
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and average handle time

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including CRM software and other productivity tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Experience working with healthcare or insurance software, including electronic health records (EHRs) and claims management systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of call center metrics and performance indicators
