Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Agent - Airport Operations and Ground Handling, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related risks.
  • Safely operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
  • Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and resolving any issues that may arise.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a member of our airport operations team, you can expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying shifts, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week. What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Ability to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
