Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional customer support via online chat, responding to customer inquiries regarding products, services, policies, and account information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Troubleshoot common customer issues and provide resolutions, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments as needed to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Guide customers through online processes and assist with account management, ensuring that customers can easily navigate our online platforms and access the information they need.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed records of customer conversations and issue resolutions.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, providing exceptional customer service that meets or exceeds customer satisfaction targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Continuously improve customer service skills and product knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest products, services, and industry trends to provide informed and effective support.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or online chat environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong typing skills and the ability to type accurately and quickly, with a high level of proficiency in using computers and online chat platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot common customer issues and provide effective resolutions.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a passion for providing exceptional support and a dedication to meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to deliver exceptional customer support.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, with a strong foundation in the industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest trends and developments.
