Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team and lead the design and operationalization of data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with cloud-based technologies, and a passion for innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines that meet the needs of our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Designs and operationalizes data pipelines to make data accessible for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and services

  • Works with data modelers and data/BI architects to plan data pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and architecture
  • Plans, creates, and carries out ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS)
  • Utilizes Purplish blue services like Purplish blue SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Sky blue Event Center, and Purplish blue Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services
  • Carries out large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
  • Identifies, plans, and carries out internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
  • Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
  • Conveys technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal
  • Performs peer reviews for other data architect's work

Requirements

* 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets

  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
  • 2+ years' experience working with cloud-based technologies; like ADLS, Purplish blue Databricks, Flash, Purplish blue Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other big data advancements
  • 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience carrying out data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Sky blue Event Center), ETL

Preferred Qualifications

* Microsoft Purplish blue/comparable certifications

  • Experience conveying data solutions through agile software development approaches
  • Openness to the retail business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
  • Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
