Job Overview

We are looking for a talented individual who can multitask seamlessly, communicate effectively, and provide comprehensive support to our guests. As a virtual assistant at blithequark, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with guests, vendors, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery. Your proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is crucial, as you will be communicating with guests and vendors via phone, using a VoIP system, and responding to inquiries and reviews on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen potential guests to ensure a smooth and secure booking process
  • Provide support and resolve issues for guests on Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott, leveraging your excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions reflect our brand's values and standards
  • Communicate and escalate issues to management via Slack, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by delivering exceptional service and ensuring that all guest interactions are positive and memorable
  • Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms, maintaining a high level of professionalism and consistency in your communication

Company Tasks

  • Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams, ensuring that all issues are documented and addressed promptly
  • Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement, following established procedures and guidelines
  • Build, manage, and report on in-house maintenance labor, using your knowledge of business financials and accounting principles to optimize our operations
  • Assist in the onboarding of accounting systems, using your working knowledge of business financials to ensure a smooth transition
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors, ensuring that all interactions are professional and aligned with our brand's values and standards

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and grammar skills
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, with a deep understanding of how to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT and the ability to use it to create personalized and engaging messages for our guests
  • Comfort speaking English on the phone and using a VoIP system to interact with guests and vendors
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Working knowledge of business financials and accounting principles, with experience in 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Knowledge of Airbnb, VRBO, and Marriott platforms, with experience in managing listings, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues
  • Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield, with experience in reporting maintenance and damage issues, and submitting damage claims for reimbursement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex issues
