Key Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Database Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Investigating and resolving normal database issues, including performing calamity recovery tasks
- Performing routine database support tasks, such as:
+ File maintenance and backup management (full, differential, and log backups) + Monitoring and executing SQL jobs + SQL Server troubleshooting and repair
- Developing and implementing database estimating and execution tuning practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations
- Providing excellent written and verbal communication skills to stakeholders and team members
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all database-related tasks
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in database administration and management
- Strong knowledge of database concepts, including database design, normalization, and indexing
- Proficiency in SQL Server and experience with database backup and recovery procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud-based database platforms, such as Azure IaaS and PaaS SQL
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Knowledge of SQL AOG and database mirroring
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Certification in database administration, such as Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDA)
