Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and applications. You will work closely with our IT, business, and data science teams to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing data pipelines and applications using various programming languages and tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
- Developing and implementing data quality checks and validation processes
- Providing data analysis and insights to support business decision-making
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and developing data pipelines and applications using various programming languages and tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
- Developing and implementing data quality checks and validation processes
- Providing data analysis and insights to support business decision-making
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices
- Collaborating with senior technologists to drive the development of data-driven solutions
- Developing and maintaining documentation for data pipelines and applications
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering and development
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with data storage and retrieval systems, including NoSQL databases and data warehouses
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services, including AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of data quality and validation processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and development
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies, including Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
- Strong understanding of cloud-based security and compliance practices
Skills and Competencies
