Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to sell an entire project. You will learn about our products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. You will work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to sell an entire project

  • Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Participate in sales and customer service initiatives to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to build loyalty and drive repeat business
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide expert advice to customers

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or service industry environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or service industry environment

  • Experience working in a sales or customer service leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of sales and customer service principles and practices
  • Experience with sales and customer service software and systems
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
