About Apple Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) Apple Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) forms the foundation of operating system security for all of Apple's innovative products, including the Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. Key Responsibilities
Conduct security research and threat intelligence on security decisions that impact all layers of the stack, from device to cloud. Analyze and understand cybercriminals, advanced skills, and techniques, and develop strategies to mitigate these threats. Work with security engineers and researchers to rapidly bring new security methodologies and technologies to market. Collaborate with decision-makers to contextualize cyber threat intelligence and develop solutions. Develop innovative ways to mitigate cyber threats while maintaining privacy, ease of use, and user experience. Work closely with external partners to support cyber threat intelligence efforts. Contribute to the development of security technology, including threat detection, incident response, and security architecture.
Essential Qualifications
Comprehensive understanding of threat intelligence and cyber operations: You have a deep understanding of threat intelligence and cyber operations, including threat analysis, incident response, and security architecture. At least 5 years of experience conducting threat research: You have extensive experience conducting threat research and analyzing complex cybercrime campaigns. Experience in analyzing highly complex cybercrime campaigns: You have experience analyzing highly complex cybercrime campaigns, including victim infrastructure, malware, and endpoints. Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks: You have the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and then complete those tasks. Some knowledge of the internals of macOS and: You have some knowledge of the internals of macOS and other Apple operating systems. Impeccable attention to detail: You have impeccable attention to detail and a spirit of growth, thriving in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills (oral and written): You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and can effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Documented experience of working successfully on individual and team projects: You have documented experience working successfully on individual and team projects, including experience in virtual/remote collaboration.
