Accounting Manager/Director - Heavy Remote

Kforce's client, a global professional services company in New York, NY, is seeking an Accounting Manager/Director. The work schedule is heavy work from home (in office is between 1 day per week and 1 day per month). Hours are only 40 hours per week most weeks. Duties will include:

• Month End Close
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Process improvement and automation; Including those focused on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
• Financial reporting
• Consolidations
• Account Analysis and reconciliation
• Collaboration with major stakeholders
• Technical accounting
• Some FP&A; budget, forecast, trend analysis, variance analysis
• Internal Controls
• Develop and mentor accounting team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience, with at least 1 year as a Manager
• CPA
• Experience in public accounting/audit a plus
• Big 4 experience a plus
• NetSuite a plus
• Workday (and Adaptive) a plus
• Oracle a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
