JOB DESCRIPTION The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a critical member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The CMO will orchestrate an integrated global marketing strategy to drive Kantata's future growth and market deployment. This role owns Kantata's global brand presence across all channels, cultivates thought leadership, and ensures marketing alignment with sales, product, business development, and customer loyalty strategies. The CMO will build and lead a world-class marketing team, drive revenue growth, and continuously refine Kantata's value proposition to propel the company as an industry innovator and leader. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with company vision, research, and point of view. Collaborate across the organization to ensure integration with sales, product, business development, and customer loyalty initiatives.
  • Brand Ownership: Own Kantata's global brand presence across digital, print, and event channels. Drive brand awareness and preference through public relations, analyst relations, and software review site coverage.
  • Thought Leadership: Grow Kantata's position as a thought leader in the market, fueling market education and narratives that support the company's vision and innovation.
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and manage a world-class team of marketers across marketing communications, demand generation, and product marketing disciplines.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive marketing-sourced opportunities to the pipeline and improve sales conversion rates through sales enablement, product positioning, pricing, and programs.

What You Bring To The Role

  • 15+ years in B2B SaaS marketing leadership, including C-Level, executive roles in high-growth companies in evangelical categories
  • Proven success in category creation, product launches, and new logo acquisition at scale
  • Experience supporting global enterprise sales motions with deal sizes >$250K ARR, and upwards >$1MM
  • Expertise in building and mentoring high-performing, cross-functional marketing teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with a metrics-driven approach to pipeline, ROI, and customer expansion
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a reputation for energizing teams and aligning executives, and thought leadership

This is a hybrid role that may work remote or in the office. We expect there will be times when meeting for an in person event will be necessary for your role.
