Job Title: Internal Sales Consultant Department: Sales FLSA Status: Exempt Job Status: FT Reports To: Director - Internal Sales Operations Positions Supervised: N/A Work Schedule: Flexible remote working schedule - Remote. POSITION SUMMARY The Internal Sales Consultant (ISC) will play a crucial role in expanding our client base by supporting their external sales partners in promoting and selling our 401(k) and PEP services to retirement plan advisors and their plan sponsors. The ISC will be responsible for proactive outreach, appointment setting, proposal preparation, and assisting with sales presentations and web demos. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with the assigned external Divisional VP in promoting and selling our 401(k) and PEP services
  • Proactive outbound sales calls and appointment setting
  • Prepare customized proposals outlining the scope of 401(k), MEP, PEP services, pricing structures and terms.
  • Assist with sales presentations and web demonstrations that highlight the features and benefits of our Slavic401k services
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with advisors and industry partners
  • Meet the specified weekly activity metrics and goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in Salesforce
  • Complete the sale process by proactively reaching out for information needed
  • Own certain geographical areas for revenue goals and activity metrics
  • Assist with plan onboarding and enrollment meetings when applicable

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Well-organized in managing multiple priorities, meeting weekly activity metrics, and supporting team geographical sales goals.
  • Proficient in using presentation, proposal, and productivity technologies (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, Word) to create engaging and customized sales materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and adaptability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with superior time management skills.

Experience

  • 3+ years experience in internal sales for retirement plan sales, financial services, or a related field required.
  • Demonstrated success managing a defined sales territory and achieving revenue goals.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce or similar CRM experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Education

  • Associate’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or additional equivalent work experience

What’s in it for you Package This role will have a base pay range of $55,000 - $65,000. Please know, this is the base range only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for this role.
